Assist At 16 Upcoming FAFSA Fiestas!
FAFSA, or Free Application for Federal Student Aid, is a critical part of helping students in low-income families attend college, as it opens access to work-study opportunities, grants, federal student loans, and aid from their college of choice. As seen in ASU’s article about demystifying FAFSA, Arizona ranks 49th in the country for FAFSA completion rates of graduating seniors.
With FAFSA Fiestas, we are able to help students and their families with their worries about the process and show them they are not alone.
Volunteers do NOT need to know anything about FAFSA to help!
There will be a quick volunteer orientation at the start of each event to train you how to help students and experts will be on site to help with any support needed.
