Happy Independence Day!

There’s a hilarious attempt at gaslighting coming from the White House over the last few days. Obviously, they looked at some disastrous poll numbers and now President Biden’s handlers are trying to convince you that the Republican Party that wants to “defund the police.” Shockingly, the national media “fact checkers” are nowhere to be found on this blatant lie. Pelosi, Schumer, AOC, The Squad, and even Joe Biden himself all supported the defund the police movement last year. Meanwhile, your Republican Party has consistently stood by law enforcement, especially when dangerous Democrat rhetoric made our men and women in blue targets of increased violence. In Indiana, under Governor Holcomb’s leadership, we unanimously passed a law enforcement bill that invests in training, police labs, and recruitment efforts and our new state budget supplies body cameras to all law enforcement agencies in the state. You simply can’t trust what is coming from Joe Biden’s handlers these days.

Let’s move on to a happier topic. It’s Independence Day weekend, a perfect time to take stock of the brilliance of our founders and our ongoing work to form a more perfect union. I’m looking forward to spending this weekend with family and friends and reflecting on all we have to be grateful for as Americans.  We at the Indiana Republican Party hope you enjoy your extended holiday weekend.

Thanks

Kyle
