It has been almost six months since the insurrection on January 6th, yet Republicans still refuse to cooperate with a bipartisan investigation.

After the 9/11 attacks, Republicans and Democrats cast partisanship aside to create an independent committee to investigate the failures that resulted in that terrible day. 

When it comes to the January 6th insurrection however, Kevin McCarthy, Mitch McConnell, and the Trump Republican party have blocked an independent investigation at every turn. Now the House has voted to establish a select committee to investigate and McCarthy might even give Marjorie Taylor Greene a spot on the select committee!! Why? Because Trump and the Republicans know they enabled the rioters and want to cover it up. 

Seven people died, hundreds of police officers were injured, and tens of millions of dollars in damages were the result of Trump's riot. Now, they're threatening to strip the committee assignments of any Republican who cooperates with the January 6th Select Committee and may even appoint Republicans who encouraged the mob to the committee! What do the Republicans have to hide?
