Some people seem confused: from 1976 until the present, the Democrat Party moved farther and farther to the right until in 2016, Bernie Sanders and the rest of the left said "Enough is enough. We have to move to the left and enact some of these common sense policies."
To protect their donors, especially in the healthcare and weapons industries, the DNC rigged the 2016 primary election for someone they knew would lose, and pretended that Russia was the reason she lost.
Since 2016 the party has moved even farther right, because to defeat Donald Trump the DNC would have to appeal to the right, since the change the left wants was never a consideration for the Democrats, even though they sometimes SAY it is or co-sponsor bills they don't support.
Once loathsome neo-cons are now Democrats, and Democrats like Joe Biden want them to STAY Democrats, at least through the 2024 election, longer if possible. Democrats prefer to appeal to the right, even though there are many times the number of potential voters on the left, because Democrats fundamentally prefer the corporate policies of social cuts and low taxes for the rich to social spending increases and higher taxes on the very wealthy.
It isn't just dramatic language that Democrats don't want to fix the problems, it is actually their job not to. Their bosses pay them to oppose peace, livable wages, socialized healthcare and fully funded education.
And as Jordan Chariton demonstrates on Status Coup News, rigging the process isn't just a national issue and it's more insidious than just gerrymandering and voter purges, it's also rigging the rules committees and the rules themselves. It also means weaponizing the rules, like when the Wisconsin Democrats sued to block the Hawkins/Walker (G) presidential campaign from appearing on the ballot in Wisconsin because Angela Walker moved during the election, so there was an old address on a form. There is nothing democratic about the Democrats Party.

Dear Republicans: fighting Democrats will never fix the real problems.
Dear Democrats: fighting Republicans will never fix the real problems.
You are not each other's enemies. Period. No matter how objectionable you find the other's views. We MUST defeat the 2-party system. We can only do that by NOT voting for Republicans or Democrats.

Israeli ethnic cleansing in the Silwan neighborhood of East Jerusalem has begun. Israel will evict small handfuls of families based on BS excuses, ignoring any proof of ownership the Palestinians have, and pretending that this is not ethnic cleansing, but the result will be an East Jerusalem that is no longer Palestinian, but Jewish. This is what ethnic cleansing MEANS.

The key witness against Julian Assange is a convicted child molester who a court psychologist assessed as a sociopath, that admits to fabricating the charge of "hacking" as part of a deal to avoid American prosecution, signed off on by William Barr. This is not being reported at all by the mainstream media, who know this signals the end of the persecution but who work side-by-side with the US government, which sadistically, seeks to drag it out as long as possible. Assange is a journalist and a truth-teller, and is not guilty of any criminality, but the US government seeks to punish him for exposing the torture program and other war crimes, as well as for exposing the rigging of the 2016 Democratic primary in which the DNC colluded with the media and the Clinton campaign to elevate Donald Trump and to smear Bernie Sanders for anything they could.
In 2016 the DNC Chair (Debbie Wasserman-Schultz) was forced to resign in the cheating scandal, her replacement (Donna Brazille) was also forced to resign for cheating, and although the incoming Chair in 2016 (Tom Perez) promised no more cheating, he rigged the rules committees and the primaries even more, including an ap that crashed the Iowa caucus and was funded by a Butigieg donor, and going so far as to change the rules DURING the primary to both block Gravel, Gabbard and Yang, but also to include Bloomberg in a debate that he hadn't qualified for because of $800,000 million dollars donated to the party.

Rogue journalist Caitlin Johnstone reminds us why it is important to focus on class issues over race issues.

Independent Congressional candidate from CA-39, Steve Cox, talking to Nick of Fred Hampton Leftists about the realization that neither Democrats nor Republicans actually want to fix the issues, and how we keep electing narcissists to represent us instead of people that want to fix the problems. Steve really says a lot of things I agree with in this interview.

Imagine fighting for housing justice with a massive eviction crisis looming and 20-30 million people about to lose their homes because Congress appears to be working against the people, and your representative seems focused on the price of lumber. Oh wait, you don't have to. These are donations to Mike Thompson from real estate groups. You want to do better? You want to get rid of someone who is paid to oppose you? Then nominate me for the People's Party Congressional slate at https://peoplesparty.org/organize/nominate-candidates/
