Dear John,
This has been a dramatic term for the Supreme Court, with significant changes to the makeup of the Court and compelling cases including:
- Fulton v. Philadelphia: a case about whether anti-discrimination rules apply to a taxpayer-funded agency that refuses to screen same-sex couples as foster parents.
- Mahanoy Area School District v. B.L.: a free-speech case about a high school student’s social media post.
- Brnovich v. DNC: a voting-rights case centered on state election policies.
- ... and the Court’s decisions in COVID-related restrictions on religious services.
How will this term’s Court rulings impact the country and your communities?
