I realize that you've gotten a lot of emails from our team sounding the
alarm about our reproductive rights.

Well, John, we
just got another stark reminder of the stakes in this fight:

In leaked footage, this is what Vice Chairman of the House GOP, Rep. Mike
Johnson, had to say about Republican efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade:

"I've known Amy Coney Barrett since high school, we go way, way back, and I
was one of the guys pushing Trump really really hard to put her on the court.

I think Amy would author the opinion. I think she’d be willing to do it. And I
think we’re gonna have at least five of those, if not all six, that will help
us.

If we overturn Roe, which I think is imminent… it goes back to the states.
Then we have the real battle."

This is exactly what we feared. And it's exactly what each of us on this
Women's March team must come together to fight against.

With a Supreme Court stacked with conservative, Trump-appointed Justices,
we have to be prepared to fight back in every state and every community
across our country. That's why we must ask once again:

One of the most disturbing aspects of these leaked quotes from GOP
leadership is that they're only a few House seats away from regaining
their dangerous, anti-women majority. We can't let anti-women policies
like these — things currently being said behind closed doors — become our
reality on the floor of the House of Representatives.

John, we must
make sure that Women’s March has the resources we need to build a
nationwide reproductive justice campaign that will leverage the power of
women to end these attacks.
