Hey!

Last week, we co-hosted the 2020 Gun Safety Forum with Giffords and who knew 7 hours of talking about policy could be this fun?

We're voting in our *first* presidential election next November, so being able to have in-depth conversations about gun violence prevention policy with nine of the Democratic presidential candidates was incredible.

But beyond that, this day was truly historic. Despite tens of thousands of people dying by guns each year, gun violence has never been a leading issue at the forefront of an election. Now, thanks to activists like you demanding action on gun safety, candidates have comprehensive policy platforms and are ready to take on the NRA with us. Activists from around the country -- some who have been doing this work since before we were born -- joined us in Las Vegas to ask the candidates questions about all types of gun violence.

The forum was great -- but we can't just wait for another election to fight this epidemic. We need to hold our elected officials accountable. We need change. And we need it now.

Don't give up. Keep calling your representatives. Keep calling Mitch McConnell. Keep sharing our ([link removed]) Peace Plan ([link removed]) . Keep showing up to make change in your community. Keep supporting our fight against the NRA, if you can ([link removed]) . Because, with your help, we will win.
