Stanton Healthcare's OPEN DAY was an outstanding success. A big thank you to everyone who attended on Saturday and signed up as a new volunteer.
Over the coming months, Stanton new volunteers will be helping provide more care, compassionate solutions and practical support to women facing unplanned pregnancies in Northern Ireland.
Stanton Healthcare is a life-affirming healthcare centre in Belfast, specialising in care for women with unexpected pregnancies. Their mission is to provide life-affirming options for abortion-vulnerable women, in an environment that promotes physical, emotional and mental well-being. They offer caring solutions that uphold the dignity of both mother and child.
It was with great excitement that the Open Day marked the launch of Stanton’s new project - 'Window to the Womb’. Stanton were delighted to announce the great news that their headquarters has been approved as a private scanning facility, with their very own ‘in-house’ top of the range ultrasound machine. Stanton can now offer every client a free ultrasound scan. Their new high-tech machine has literally become a lifesaving ‘window to the womb’. Almost every woman that has seen her baby on an ultrasound scan has ‘chosen life’. As abortion has now become readily available throughout Northern Ireland, this service is all the more essential in order to save the lives of the little ones who are under threat of abortion.
There was also more exciting news with the announcement that Stanton will be opening a new Centre in Scotland.
The Open Day heard many emotional and empowering testimonies shared from brave mothers who ‘chose life' for their babies through the help and ongoing support of Stanton.
Videos of the inspirational stories of these brave ‘Stanton Mums’ will be available soon.
While abortion providers charge between £500-1,500 for an abortion, Stanton Healthcare offer women 18 months of full support services completely free. But this is only possible through the generosity of faithful donors. So a big “Thank-You” to went out at the Open Day to Angela and all the team from 'Downpatrick Pro-Life' when their generous donation was presented to Stanton. Every pound will help keep the ‘doors of hope’ open for women facing unexpected pregnancies, and their little babies.
Check out below for some of the photos from the Open Day
