We sent a lot of emails leading up to yesterday’s fundraising deadline. Thanks for bearing with us.

We hope you take it as an indication of how important that deadline was -- and we also hope you believe those messages are a small price to pay for keeping Governor Newsom in office.

But today, we wanted to write you to say two things:

First, you’re going to be proud of our fundraising report when we file. We received more donations than anyone would have thought possible — the overwhelming majority small-dollar donations from California.

Second, we need volunteers. Big time. We need people willing to text Californians using our online tool to ask if Gavin Newsom can count on them to vote NO on the recall when they receive their ballots.

It’s an easy to use online tool. You don’t use your own phone. And it will go A LONG way toward helping make sure we beat this recall.
