Our campaign is just continuing to gain momentum.

This morning The Atlantic published an article stating this race would be the historic upset of the 2020 cycle. Facing our own establishment, out-of-touch Democrat, Henry Cuellar, our win could set the pace for progressive races across the country.

We’re making headlines because people across the country know that getting Henry Cuellar out of office will serve them, too. As Jessica said:

“The fact is that Cuellar is someone who really isn’t aligned with our Democratic values. Democrats everywhere recognize that he’s one less vote on their health care, one less vote on raising the minimum wage, one less vote on so many issues that Democrats hold near.” 1

Jessica is running to be a leading voice in Washington and stay true to her constituents. Cuellar, on the other hand, has spoken out against pressing issues like the border wall — then supported the construction in his own district. We refuse to reelect someone who votes time and time against the interests of the people of our district.

Progressive platforms like ours bring power to the people, not corporate special interests. Last year, the 2018 primary challengers lit a spark — and Jessica will carry the flame.
