There are only a few hours left before our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, and we still haven't hit our online fundraising goal. I wanted to take a moment to check in and share why it is so important that we hit these goals.

Republicans only need to flip five seats to take back the House majority and they're looking at critical swing districts to help them do it. As the first Democrat to ever represent Washington's 8th District, national Republicans have named my seat a top target to flip in the midterms.

On top of that, my first opponent entered the race last month and in one of his first interviews, he refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. He is already proving just how out of touch he is with our district and with reality.

After tonight's end-of-quarter deadline, our fundraising numbers will be made public once again. We know my opponent and national Republicans will look at what we raise to judge the strength of this grassroots team. That's why it's crucial to hit our goal. But with just a few hours left, we're still $2,745 short.
