I’ll keep this short. In just a few hours, we’ll hit the second FEC deadline of the cycle — marking the unofficial start of the 2022 midterm election. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask you directly:

This deadline is an important one. Next month, all of our fundraising for the past three months will be made public — that means our Republican opponents and their dark money allies will be poring over the numbers looking for vulnerabilities. And to be honest, we’re a little behind our deadline goal.

We can’t falter — we need to show them our strength. Because it’s going to take each and every one of us pitching in and doing the work to protect and expand our slim majority in the Democratic House. If we lose ground in the midterms, we can’t pass big, bold, progressive legislation, or repair our democracy after four years of continuous assault from Donald Trump and the GOP.
