In 2020, during an unprecedented global pandemic, our communities showed up at the polls in historic numbers and put their stamp on a critical presidential election. But that was only the beginning. In 2021, we are working to ensure that Muslim American voters like you are heard by lawmakers in Washington, D.C. As we continue to move forward and build power as a community, I am making a personal appeal to you ahead of a crucial deadline that is just a few hours away.

2021 has been about one thing: turning the electoral victories of 2020 into real, impactful policy change. It has been about ensuring there will never be another Muslim Ban. It has been about pushing back against racist, xenophobic, and Islamophobic hate crimes. And it has been about showing that our communities are full of Muslim Americans that are civically and politically engaged for a reason.

Today, we are facing an important milestone- the end of the first half of 2021, and we need your help. Our advocacy team is working around the clock to ensure Muslim American voices are being heard on the Hill, but as we close out June our team is facing a funding gap that needs to be closed by midnight tonight.
