Dear John,
Today, as we close Immigrant Heritage Month, we can’t help but reflect on how immigrants across the generations have shaped and strengthened our community.
At NVFS, we know the immigrant community and culture in our region because we are a part of it. More than two-thirds of our clients were born outside of the United States, and more than half of NVFS staff are Bilingual/Bicultural and speak a total of 16 different languages.
Our culture is a strength.

As we reflect on the different challenges of this last year, we are proud to offer support to a community that is recovering from the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic thanks to the unwavering work of essential workers, many of whom are first, or second-generation immigrants: doctors, nurses, mental health professionals, caseworkers, teachers, home care providers, janitors, grocery store, restaurant and delivery workers, and more.
At NVFS, we work tirelessly to support our clients and to celebrate the beauty they and their diversity bring to our region through our Immigrant Resiliency Fund <[link removed]>.
Please donate <[link removed]> to the Immigrant Resiliency Fund today and create a brighter future not just for our immigrant neighbors, but for us all.

Sincerely,
Paola Sandoval-Moshenberg
