In just a minute, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to our campaign for United States Senate. I hope you’ll give me a quick moment to explain how important this request is for our team.
We’re only a few months into this election, and already we’ve seen three consecutive public polls put us ahead of our Republican opponent. Two of the top political forecasters have rated this race as “toss-up.”
I am not kidding when I tell you that the first months of our campaign couldn’t have gone much better than this, and we have folks like you to thank for that. Truly, I cannot thank you enough.
Political corruption in Washington is running rampant. Little is being done on the issues that matter to working families, from our environment to gun violence and building an economy that works for everyone. All the while, establishment politicians like Mitch McConnell and our opponent, Thom Tillis, are filling their campaign coffers with dirty money instead of doing their jobs for the people.
