When my time in Congress came to an end, I reflected on what we’d built over the last near-decade:
*
A
powerful
community
of
supporters
and
volunteers
nationwide.
*
A
large
and
hyper-engaged
email
list
here
with
all
of
you.
*
Social
media
accounts
that
are
some
of
the
largest
digital
platforms
in
the
Democratic
Party.
How could I pivot those valuable resources into continuing the push for progress and equity nationwide?
The answer was in Groundwork. Tonight is our first quarterly deadline since our national plan announcement last week. I’m personally asking you to chip in to help build the tools and internal infrastructure to activate these resources. Here’s the link to give:

I want to repeat something I mentioned last week when we announced our national plan with you all. When I lost the U.S. Senate race last year, I remember closing my speech with a simple message to my kids: Spend your life in the ring.
That’s a lesson I learned from my own family. Our collective future depends on people willing to jump in and fight – even if you have to lose a whole lot before you win.
This lesson is the foundation of Groundwork. We aren’t going to win every battle but we need to stay in the ring and play the long game to make an impact in our communities.
Every dollar in the door for tonight’s quarterly deadline will not only be put to work immediately, it will be strategically stretched to make the greatest impact.
Once again, here’s the link to give: [link removed] [[link removed]]
Thanks,
Joe
Groundwork Project was founded by Joe Kennedy III to support community organizers, advocates, and activists nationwide who are working year-round to build a just, free, and equitable future for all. For decades, the Democratic Party has under-resourced, under-valued, and under-recognized the importance of local political infrastructure and year-round grassroots organizing. This needs to change.
We're directing resources, attention, and support to the local advocates and state-based organizations doing the deep, long-term organizing that Democrats need to build a more diverse party, expand its base, win elections, and deliver progressive policy reforms. Contribute now. [[link removed]]
