John,
Our Black LGBTQ+ fam continues to face discrimination and inequality every day at the intersection of identities --
especially in the political sphere. It's rare to see these intersections in our elected officials, and that’s
exactly why BLM PAC is committing to ensure that our pool of candidates empowers and upholds the beauty of intersectionality.
We want to find and support more candidates like our endorsee Chi Ossé, a young queer Black activist who is looking like he'll win his primary election in NYC for City Council District 36!
It's on us to be the voice that demands representation of intersectionality in politics.
We are the ones who have the power to elect our lawmakers.
If we want legislative bodies that are truly representative of all Black people, we have to do all we can to pool our resources into backing candidates who represent the diversity within our community.
John, can you chip in $5 or whatever you can toward BLM PAC so we can continue to back candidates dedicated to empowering ALL Black lives and representing intersectionality?

Monday marked the anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. In June 1969, Pride began as an uprising against police after New York police violently raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay club that was refuge for Black and brown queer folks. In 1969, it was #DefundThePolice.
And in Pride 2021, it's still #DefundThePolice.
What better way to celebrate the legacy of Pride than by committing to backing LGBTQ+ Black candidates?
Recruiting, supporting, and voting for Black LGBTQ+ candidates to public office is crucial to the fight for Black liberation -- because
all Black Lives Matter. And we deserve elected officials that represent all of us -- and our collective fight toward equality and ending discrimination on all fronts.
So what do you say? Will you make a donation to BLM PAC and help fuel the work to support and elect Black LGBTQ+ candidates?
Thanks for your help, John!
In love and solidarity,
Black Lives Matter PAC
