Good News: As we approach tonight’s midnight deadline, there’s almost no doubt we have received many more individual donations than any of our opponents. When we report, it’ll be a number you can be proud of.
Bad News: The average amount of those donations is down. Considerably. A couple bucks per donation. Now this is a good problem to have, but when you have as many donations as we do, it all adds up.
Normally we ask people to chip in $3 a time, but if you can tack on a bit to that number and do it before midnight, we’re going to hit our goals and win this recall.
Thanks for everything. We all have a role to play in keeping a Republican out of the governor’s office in California.
