As one of the top supporters of our campaign we wanted to give you a behind the scenes look at where we stand.

 

Let’s start with the good news: We’re excited to announce that we had our best fundraising quarter yet. We’re still crunching the final numbers, but we raised more than any past quarter and added over 60,000 new donors to our campaign! I don’t have a personal fortune to buy millions of dollars in ads for my campaign – instead, we’ve relied on hundreds of thousands of grassroots donations to build a people-powered movement. In the past three months, our average contribution was only $18 with over 180,000 donations to our campaign. 

 

Now for the bad news: There are now fewer than 4 months until the Iowa Caucuses. This means we need to expand our presence in Iowa fast. Over the past month, we have quadrupled the size of our staff in Iowa and now we need to fund our first major cable ad buy in the state.

 

We need to raise $50,000 in the next week to produce and get our ad on the air in Iowa before the next debate next week.
