John, we’ve got some concerning news:

When Val first announced she was running for U.S. Senate, our donations soared. Folks in Pennsylvania and across the country rushed in their donations so we could flip this seat and expand our Senate majority.

But recently, something happened. More folks are going on summer vacation and unplugging, and in turn, our donations have slowed down and we’re falling behind on tonight’s end-of-quarter fundraising goal. Missing this goal just isn't an option with so much on the line in Pennsylvania and across the country.

So, we’ve got two options:

1. Either we need more people to pitch in before midnight;
2. Or, we need folks to chip in just a little bit more than usual.
