Our goal as we end June and the current financial quarter is to raise $4,000 to protect our four most vulnerable Democratic senators. That's why we need to talk about the senator who's sure to be at the top of the GOP's list of targets -- Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock.
We took Republicans in Georgia by surprise in 2020, winning two Senate seats and cementing Biden's victory. This time, Georgia will have the GOP's full attention, and they're determined not to repeat their mistakes. That's why they're engaged in one of the biggest voter suppression efforts in the country to steal it back.
Sen. Warnock has been one of President Biden's staunchest allies in his fight to enact a sweeping progressive agenda. Warnock's vote will be crucial for passing this legislation to provide dignity to workers and families, especially for communities of color.
But that vote won't come without a risk in his home state.
Even without Georgia's new voter suppression law in place, Sen. Warnock won by just TWO points in January. That's why he is the GOP's number one target, so we need Democrats to be all in to keep Georgia blue and protect our Senate majority.
The Senate race in Georgia is key to keeping radical right-wing Republicans from reclaiming power in the Senate. We're about halfway to our $4,000 goal -- right where we need to be. But we need to keep pushing to the finish line tonight.
