I rely on grassroots donations from supporters like you chipping in $5, $10, or $25 at a time because I do NOT accept corporate PAC contributions.
Here's the ugly truth about campaign fundraising:
Members of Congress are often told that they should spend up to five hours each day on "call time" — time solely dedicated to calling up mega-donors and PACs to get big checks and ensure reelection. That's more than half of a regular work day.
But as the chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and a leader who is championing a big and bold jobs, infrastructure, and families plan, Medicare for All, and urgent climate action, I’m keeping my priorities straight: Legislating and fighting for working Americans.
So to keep my focus on leading and legislating, we're hoping that you'll help us hit our FEC end-of-quarter deadline before midnight! I’ll even call a few grassroots donors to say thanks, since I’m not wasting time on the phone with corporate donors.

I rely on grassroots donations from supporters like you chipping in $5, $10, or $25 at a time because I do NOT accept corporate PAC contributions. Not a dime. Not even a penny. And every time this campaign gets a donation from someone like you pitching in to an email like this one, we're proving that there's a better way to do politics — a way that puts people first.
So, please chip in $3 or whatever you can before our FEC deadline at midnight. To show my gratitude, I’ll call a few of my grassroots donors! So don’t miss out and donate right away.
Thank you for being a part of our people-powered movement,
Pramila
