John,

Elaine’s been defying expectations from the beginning.

At 17, Elaine enrolled in the Navy, eventually becoming one of the first women in the Navy’s nuclear power program. Fast-forward 20 years, Elaine is a veteran, nuclear engineer, and still isn’t done serving our country.

When she ran for VA-02’s House seat in 2018, Elaine was an underdog. Pollsters and pundits didn’t think that she could flip this seat -- but she did, by 2 points.

Since then, Elaine’s been getting things done in Congress for Coastal Virginians. She was even ranked the 2nd most effective freshman member of the House.

Elaine is going to defy expectations again -- people are saying that our race is a toss-up, and they’re anxiously awaiting our end-of-quarter fundraising numbers to confirm that.

They should know by now not to doubt Elaine -- or her supporters.

A strong FEC fundraising report is the best way to show our opponents and National Republicans that Elaine is not to be underestimated. Help us prove them wrong, again.
