It's nearing the Fourth of July, but here at Sister District DC/MD/VA, we're looking toward November! We're supporting two great candidates--Joshua Cole and Briana Sewell in Virginia, both of whom are running for the House of Delegates. Joshua you may know--we helped him on his way to victory in 2019!
Please join us tonight at 6:30 ET, and every Wednesday until election day, to help us phone bank for Joshua and Briana.
Phonebanking is our best remote volunteering option for voter contact. We identify supporters, find and speak with undecided voters, tidy campaign data for voter targeting, and recruit local volunteers.
Each virtual phonebank over Zoom includes training for new phonebankers at the top (returning callers can jump right in), and check-ins mid-way through and at the end. We'll share successes and address questions throughout. Veteran phonebank leaders help you get comfortable, increase your effectiveness, and make sure you have a great experience.
