Why today? Because in order for us to prepare our campaigns for animals for the rest of 2021, we need to have the backing of 40 more Freedom Champions.
The monthly donations that our Freedom Champions give directly fuel our work to help animals suffering in captivity.
This year we still have a lot of work to do.
----> The ban on the primate pet trade is on the horizon but we can't rest - there is the possibility the bill could be watered down and would allow some people to still keep pet primates... we can't let that happen! With your help we will be lobbying for a STRONG and total ban to protect animals!
----> The recent news I shared about a possible ban on elephants in zoos is really promising! But it won't happen unless with your help, we ramp up the pressure and make it a reality for these incredible animals.
----> The aquarium industry continues to take animals from the wild to stock their tanks. With your help we will be campaigning on this and have some shocking findings to share soon.
-----> Animal circuses are still on the move with domestic animals being exploited for human entertainment. No animal should be used as a prop! With your help we will be monitoring circuses and supporting protests on the ground.
