But let me tell you why our campaign is the best investment: Republican incumbent Lee Zeldin is vacating this seat to run for Governor. That makes this an open race, the best opportunity we've had in years to take back our voice in Congress and win progress for working people.

I've represented this community for nearly a decade in the County Legislature, John. Folks know they can count on me to leave politics at the door and put families at the front and center of our decision-making in Washington.
