This video was just released of Republican leadership laying out their strategy to ban abortion in the United States by next year: GOP Congressmember Mike Johnson (R-LA) admits their plan is for Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett to write the opinion overturning Roe v. Wade within the next year.
This has always been their plan: to decimate reproductive freedom for all. The GOP has been working for decades to create this exact moment, and we cannot fail to respond.

Republicans are confident that the Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade, making the right to abortion a state issue. They know that ten states have trigger laws that would immediately ban abortion, and twelve others would be expected to pass similar laws right away.
What GOP leadership admits in this video validates everything we do, everything we stand for, and lays out why we've been ringing the alarm.
This is why #VOTEPROCHOICE exists. Anti-choice extremists have spent decades working to pack the courts and elect their allies up and down the ballot because they know that we are a prochoice nation. A vast majority — nearly 80% of the country — does not want Roe v. Wade overturned.
Now we have to coalesce our power and work even harder to defeat this overly funded anti-choice minority by elevating prochoice champions in every election, in every state, in every race.
