[1]Women's March

Hi John,

I lead our finances at Women's March, and wanted to send you an update
before our big fundraising deadline tonight.

Here's the good news: We've received a surge in grassroots donations ever
since Women’s March released our strategy memo to stop the Republican
Party’s wave of attacks on our reproductive freedom. Women's Marchers from
across the country have stepped up — many of them for the very first time
this year — to help raise money for our Reproductive Justice Fund.

But here's what we’re worried about: There’s only a couple hours left
until our end-of-quarter deadline at midnight tonight. Right now, we’re
just a handful of donations away from reaching our goal and we’d hate to
fall short and have to cut down on our organizing work.

[ [link removed] ][IMG][ [link removed] ]John,
will you chip in $14.13 (our average
donation) or anything you can to help us reach our Reproductive Justice
Fund goal tonight? We’re relying on donations from emails like this one to
make sure Women’s March has the resources we need to organize nationally
and on the local level to defend our reproductive freedom.

The wave of attacks happening right now to dismantle access to abortion
and restrict our reproductive freedom is terrifying. It’s a harsh reminder
that Trump may be gone — but his misogynistic and racist agenda is still
alive and being carried out by his supporters.

But we’ve made it clear we’re not going down quietly: In the past month, a
powerful, women-led movement has risen up to fight back against these
attacks.

Women, especially women of color, are leading efforts to put pressure on
companies and their elected officials to stand against Texas Republicans
orchestrating these efforts to strip away our rights. High school graduate
Paxton Smith has gone viral for speaking out at her high school graduation
about the importance of abortion rights and has inspired millions of other
young women to rise up in this fight. And Women’s Marchers have been hard
at work organizing to put pressure on our elected officials on the local
and federal level to end this assault on our democracy and the rights
enshrined to us from Roe v. Wade.

Please remember this: History has taught us that there’s nothing more
powerful than women organizing together for our feminist values. We know
it’s true because this is how we defeated Trump, flipped the Senate, and
stopped other attacks on reproductive freedom in the past.

That’s why we’re coming to you one more time,
John, to ask for a favor and
help make sure Women’s March has the resources we need to build a
nationwide reproductive justice campaign that will leverage the power of
women to end these attacks:

anything you can to help us reach our Reproductive Justice Fund goal
tonight? Every dollar makes a big difference with our deadline just hours
away.
