The momentum behind our fight for climate justice is stronger than ever, friends.
But you and I all know the truth is that the scale and magnitude of the global climate crisis demands far more than what any one of us can do as individuals — it requires a movement. It requires the Green New Deal.
I am confident in our ability to step up and do the work required to make our climate agenda a reality — but none of it can happen overnight.
Just like our victories in 2020, winning requires sustained organizing and movement building on the ground, far beyond any single election cycle or political campaign. The truth is that the real work is just beginning.
That’s why I made it clear to my team that we needed to keep organizing, to be ready and able to fully commit to the important fights in the months and years ahead. That takes sustained, reliable resources, and it’s why I have an important ask with two options for you today.
I know that’s a big ask for me to make, and it’s not one that everyone can commit to right now. If that’s the case for you but you’d still like to pitch in to show your support, here’s the second option:
Whichever option you choose, any contribution you can make today will go a long way toward making the Green New Deal and our entire bold, progressive agenda a reality.
Lots and lots of people standing together when it counts — that’s how we build a movement. Thank you for being a part of ours.
