In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to our campaign before Tuesday night’s debate. Please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important.
Now, I don't have to tell you that this is a pivotal and momentous time for our nation and for the entire planet, and that there is a monumental clash taking place right now between two very different political visions.
And not to get you too nervous, but the future of our country and the world is dependent upon which side wins that struggle.
The good news is, we are building the kind of grassroots movement that is willing and able to take on the corporate greed and political corruption necessary to move our country forward.
But I can’t do it alone. Any of it — starting with running the kind of campaign it takes to win. So ahead of Tuesday night’s important debate, I have to ask:
We all have one shot at this life, and when we look at ourselves in the mirror I think we all want to say we did something big — something that helped create the kind of country we can become.
That is what this campaign is about. And that is what we will do when we are in the White House.
