Dear John,

We can’t have a healthy democracy without informed voters, which is why Verified Voting’s research and data is a critical piece of the voting rights puzzle ([link removed]) . Hundreds of people visit our trusted resources ([link removed]) every day — including journalists, election officials, policymakers, and interested voters. But to maintain this one-of-a-kind collection, and make our tools even more useful to visitors seeking to understand how elections work, we need your help:

We’re always rolling out new updates ([link removed]) to make the Verifier more informative and user-friendly. And we’ve got a long, long wish list of other improvements based on your feedback: from advanced search capabilities to new data visualizations that can provide a clearer picture of where and how election technology is being used across the U.S.

Public interest in voting equipment has only continued to grow since November’s election. Our database ([link removed]) is your one-stop-shop for this information, including links to user manuals, test reports, and training videos — but we need resources to keep it updated with the latest information about systems in use.

Keeping up with the constant legislative and election code changes around post-election audit laws ([link removed]) in all 50 states is a full-time effort. With your support, we can answer the pleas of advocates, lawmakers, and other visitors who want to see us expand and integrate the database with our other data sets, and make it even more useful.

All of our tools ([link removed]) and resources ([link removed]) are available to the public for free so that voters, election officials, and those who inform the public can fill in the voting rights puzzle using accurate information. To help us keep providing and adding vital pieces to that picture, please consider a monthly contribution ([link removed]) or whatever you can give ([link removed]) today.

With thanks,
Megan Maier, Senior Research Associate
