Ending June strong is important. It signals that we’re ready to protect the seat we worked so hard to win. More important — it prepares us to protect it.

Over the past three years we’ve done so much: established Washington’s Universal Health Care Commission, passed medical equity training requirements for med students and providers, extended post-partum health coverage for low-income Washingtonians, invested in affordable housing, broadband, and our ferries, passed bold climate policy. BUT WE HAVE SO MUCH MORE TO DO.

We need to raise $10,000 this month to cover the salary for the staff member who starts next week ( look out for a chance to meet her soon! ), to print the fliers we’ll use for door knocking, to support volunteer recruitment and community events.
