Tomorrow, Texas Governor Greg Abbott will welcome President Trump to our state with open arms to continue their racist dog whistle politics.

While Trump may be out of the White House, it is clear that Republican sycophants like our own Greg Abbott are willing to do whatever it takes to win over this man's approval -- even if that means wasting your taxpayer dollars on an archaic self-erected Southern border wall.

Abbott's move is ridiculous and shows his real priorities. Instead of fixing problems that face Texans like repairing our failing power grid, he would rather appeal to Trump's racist base in an attempt to shore up his political clout.
