John:
The GOP is doing what they are best at — blurring the lines between reality and conspiracy theories for political gain. Over the last few months, the GOP has spent more effort on downplaying the traumatic events of the January 6 insurrection than they have on passing legislation that would benefit their constituents.
This is harmful and this is dangerous. Failing to remember this event honestly will leave the doors open for something like this to happen again — and John, that’s a risk we can’t afford to take.
The GOP has launched an outright assault on the truth. The right-wing media has censored content related to January 6, a majority of Republican members of Congress refuse to work with Democrats to investigate the insurrection, and Americans have been left with more questions than answers.
Our End-of-Quarter deadline is tomorrow at midnight and Eric is leading the charge against the GOP’s misinformation. Can you chip in $15 before our deadline to keep Eric fighting for us in the halls of Congress?

Members of the GOP have gone as far as to place blame on peaceful Black Lives Matter protesters for the events of January 6. They’d rather lie to themselves and the rest of America than own up and face the facts of the day: Donald Trump and other high-level Republicans stoked the flames of white supremacy and endangered their colleagues, countless members of law enforcement, and our democracy.
The GOP prides itself on being the party that “backs the blue,” but they won’t investigate an incident in which members of the Capitol Police risked their lives. Can you help us stand up for our democracy and chip in $15 before tomorrow’s fundraising deadline to keep Eric fighting for the truth in Washington?
We’re so grateful for your support, John — thank you.
