Late last week, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York ordered the immediate suspension of Rudolph Giuliani’s law license.

This is an important development for LDAD and for the thousands of you who signed our ethics complaint against Mr. Giuliani ([link removed]) in January of this year.

The unanimous decision by the court is a powerful affirmation that lawyers are indeed bound by ethical codes in and outside of the courtroom.

In addition, the decision is an encouraging strike against the Big Lie that has done so much to undermine democratic values and the rule of law.
