Pride month, which celebrates the LGBTQ+ community, takes place in June to mark the anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising in June 1969. Pride was BORN out of queer people standing up against enforcement agencies that targeted, brutilized and criminalized them.

This criminalization continues to be our reality, Friend! To this day, enforcement agencies like ICE, CBP & police continue terrorizing queer people of color.

With LGBTQ+ people, especially trans women of color, in ICE detention facing high rates of sexual assault, lack of adequate medical care, and kept in solitary confindement. 😡So, we must continue to fight for the liberation of all our queer sibllings and demand Congress cut funding to ICE and CBP.
