Dear Friend,

This morning I joined the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH), Senator Mark Warner, Virginia housing officials from Richmond, and Arlington housing leaders for a ribbon cutting for Queen's Court--a 249 unit apartment building in Rosslyn.
Ribbon Cutting this morning of Queen's Court in Rosslyn.
I was happy to be there as we helped diversify the location of affordable housing units in Arlington and strengthen Arlington's economic ladder. It made me think about the future and the opportunity we have to build a community where more have the chance to thrive.

When I think about that future and the vision and policies Arlington needs, I think of the work we have started together on affordable housing and fighting climate change. I also think of how important it is that we reelect leaders like Takis Karantonis who have experience and commitment on both issues.
Help Takis Karantonis by 11:59 pm tomorrow, June 30th--Key Deadline ([link removed])
Last week, many of you helped with the work needed to keep Virginia's House of Delegates blue by supporting Wendy Gooditis. We reached our goal and everyone who contributed got a thank you note this morning.

Now we have another key opportunity to help serve Arlington by helping Takis serve us for the next four years on the Arlington County Board. Tomorrow night is a critical deadline: Takis won his primary but is in need of the resources to obtain yard signs and grip cards--a total of $2,500. I am respectfully asking you to help contribute what you can afford now because this funding early in the general election will make a BIG difference.

(I will do more in the fall with an event for Takis, but he needs us before midnight tomorrow, so here's the link if you are able to chip in: [link removed] )

Thank you for considering and doing all you can to help move Arlington forward on affordable housing and our efforts to fight climate change.

Yours,

Matt
