John,
I wanted to send a quick reminder that our deadline to submit panel or training proposals for this fall's Netroots Nation is THIS FRIDAY.
Do you have an idea for a session you’d like to see on the agenda? Click here for the guidelines and submission form.
Netroots Nation 2021 will be a hybrid event October 7-9, with options to attend in person in Washington D.C. or participate virtually. Some breakout sessions will be held in person, live streamed, and then recorded for our virtual platform. Others will happen real-time in a virtual format and also recorded for later viewing.
For sessions held in person, all presenters must be present in Washington D.C. Otherwise, the session will be conducted virtually as a webinar. You’ll need to indicate if your session is for in-person or virtual consideration.
Still noodling over ideas? Here are some themes we want to emphasize this year:
- Discussions about what worked—and what didn't—in 2020, and how we can apply those lessons to future election cycles
- Conversations about enacting a progressive agenda and holding our elected officials accountable
- Sessions on protecting our democracy, both now and for the long haul
- Content on how to build community power, invest in new leaders, and sustain a healthy and inclusive movement that centers those closest to injustice
- If you're considering a training, you can submit sessions on grassroots organizing/campaigns, online organizing, communication, tech/digital security and operations.
Click here to read the full list of guidelines and then submit your panel or training proposal.
Can't wait to see your ideas!
