Nurse Rewrites the Rules as Advocate for Patients, Health Equity

Pennsylvania Report Examines Inequities, Offers Solutions
A new report from AARP Pennsylvania and Drexel University&rsquo;s College of Nursing assesses the state&rsquo;s aging population, lays out how COVID-19 has increased structural health disparities, and provides several solutions. &ldquo;Disrupting Disparities in Pennsylvania&rdquo; says the digital divide and costs are among reasons for the increasing inequity. Among recommendations: the state should empower nurses to do more.

Johnson & Johnson invites nurses and students to submit their nurse-led novel concepts, protocols, treatment approaches, and consumer product ideas with the potential to help improve access to care amid the pandemic environment and beyond.
