This election day, you have the chance to help solve our housing affordability crisis.

Election day is here! Vote #yes4NOLAhomes and see who signed the #fairshare pledge.

You have the chance to help solve New Orleans' housing affordability crisis by voting #yes4NOLAhomes today, and to re-elect Governor John Bel Edwards.

The New Orleans Affordable Housing Amendment ([link removed]) , or Constitutional Amendment 4 on your ballot, is a creative solution to the housing crisis in our city. It would empower the City Council to find local solutions to a local problem by allowing them to develop property tax incentives for affordable housing. It will not cost any Louisiana taxpayer a single penny, and is a win-win-win scenario for property owners, renters, and builders. Learn more about Amendment 4 at actionnola.com/oct12.

You have plenty of time to make it to the polls before tonight's LSU game, so don't hesitate! Grab some neighbors and vote #yes4NOLAhomes. Find your polling place here. ([link removed]) And if you want to do more to help, stop by 1516 Thalia St. at 10AM for our volunteer kickoff, or our field office at 4237 S. Claiborne Ave. later in the day, to spread the word about #yes4NOLAhomes and to get Governor Edwards re-elected!
