[link removed] [[link removed]]Dear John,
Maine’s most successful land conservation program hasn’t been funded in almost 10 years. Tomorrow, that could change.
For the first time ever, our state’s budget includes funding for the Land for Maine’s Future (LMF) program. If passed, $40 million would be allocated to LMF, playing a vital role in supporting access to outdoor recreation for all Mainers.
Our lawmakers are set to vote on the biennial state budget in Augusta tomorrow and they need to hear from you that this budget is a win for Maine people and Maine’s environment.
Send a message urging your lawmakers to support the state budget to fund the LMF program and protect our state's natural resources. Click here to send your message [[link removed]] .

It’s no secret that we are big supporters of LMF and legislation to fund the program. Better yet, the budget includes funding for addressing drinking water contamination by toxic PFAS chemicals, proactive planning for sea level rise for our coastal communities, improving fisheries connectivity through stream restoration, and more!
In order to properly protect our people and environment, our legislators must pass the state budget tomorrow.
Join us in calling on our lawmakers to support the state budget and help protect Maine’s natural resources through this vital program [[link removed]] .
Thank you in advance for taking action,
Rani
