I'm writing to let you know about something that's been heavy on my mind lately: the FEC end of quarter filing deadline on June 30.

I know my team and I have said this before -- but I'm nervous that if we don't meet or even exceed our fundraising goal in the next few days, the GOP will invest hundreds of thousands into flipping my seat red.

We've had so many legislative victories in the House the past few weeks. From introducing legislation to regulate big tech to seeing the American Rescue Plan's Child Tax Credit system come to life, I know that all of our forward momentum will fall flat if we don't act now.

We're down to the wire on the end of quarter deadline -- in fact, John, it's tomorrow -- and we're still about $6,500 short of where we need to be. I want to make it clear to both our community and the GOP that PA-05 is a Democratic stronghold -- but right now, that just isn't the case. We look vulnerable.

If we can hit our fundraising goal now, it'll be a weight off my shoulders so I can spend more time working for the families of PA-05 and less time worrying about our seat becoming a GOP opportunity.

I can't focus on fighting for progress if we fall behind on our fundraising goal -- losing our seat would not only be devastating for my constituents but it would pose a very serious threat to our House majority.
