In a couple hours, I have a meeting with Susie and the senior staff, and I will have to give a report on our progress toward our end-of-quarter fundraising goal.

Quickly, before this meeting, will you rush a contribution of about $20 so I can deliver good news to Susie and the team?

We need to start making plans for our July advertising and voter outreach efforts, and I need to be able to tell the team we’re on track to reach our goal.

If we miss this goal, we’re going to have to start letting up on our campaign efforts, and with 4 GOP opponents already in the race — we simply can’t afford to do that.
