2022 is going to be a pivotal year for the nation, John.

Democrats hold the house by a razor-thin margin -- so if we fail to defend our majority, the GOP will have free reign to wage war on truth and impede any chance at progress for working people.

Here in NY-01, we've got an incredible part to play in preventing that: This is an open seat since Republican incumbent Lee Zeldin ditched NY-01 to run for Governor. This might be one of our best opportunities in the country to go on offense and flip a seat.

But as we approach our first end-of-quarter filing deadline, we're at risk of starting things off on the wrong foot. We set a goal of 1,000 donations by June 30th, and we're still well short of that target.
