We’re now less than 36 hours away from our legally mandated FEC fundraising deadline, and we’re really hoping to meet our modest goals for the quarter to keep building progressive power all across the country.

I’m writing to you today to ask for a contribution ahead of our official end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline coming up on Wednesday. But before I do that, please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important.
This Wednesday night, we close the books on our quarterly fundraising numbers. After that, we’re legally required to report how many donations we’ve received and how many dollars we’ve raised — whether those numbers are good or bad.
Once we do, you can be certain that our opponents, like shady right-wing special interest groups and dark money fossil fuel lobbyists, will be pouring over the data to see how we did. We want to make sure they don’t like what they see.
That’s why I’m hoping we can count on your support today. Our team is really hoping to put up rock-solid numbers here in the home stretch in order to show the strength of our progressive movement. What do you say?
As we continue to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, we need to be united as we get ready for the fights ahead. I’m talking about big, bold policies like the Green New Deal, voting rights and democracy reform, abolishing the filibuster, a $15 minimum wage, expanding the Supreme Court and so much more.
It’s true — we have a great deal of work ahead of us if we’re going to create the kind of change we all know our country needs. But I’m confident that so long as we’re in this together, we’re going to reach our goals and keep building power for our progressive movement all across the nation.
Corporate interests and political insiders are all hoping that the momentum and enthusiasm behind our agenda will simply fade away. This deadline is our next chance to show them that we’re just getting started. So I’m asking:
