In just a few hours, we'll reach our first official FEC End-of-Quarter deadline. That's the date by which we officially announce this campaign's first fundraising numbers – and we simply can't afford to fall short of our $130,000 target.

The last Florida Senate race was decided by 0.12 percentage points ... that's less than two-tenths of one percent. On top of that, CNN has named this seat one of the likeliest to flip blue in 2022. With razor-thin margins like these, I believe we have a real chance at flipping this seat – but it all comes down to the campaign we run. And that's where fundraising comes in.

I know the extremist GOP will rush MILLIONS of dollars into this state to defend Rubio's seat. They've already passed voter suppression laws to keep hardworking Americans from the ballot box, and they've already started attacking me. They're playing a dirty game, but with everything from pandemic relief to gun reform in the balance, we can't let them win.

In an election where every vote counts, early deadlines like these could make or break our ability to prepare for the fight ahead. Please, with just hours left until our most critical deadline yet, will you rush $5 or $25 to defeat Rubio, beat the corrupt GOP and secure this campaign's footing moving forward?

I'd rather not focus on fundraising. I'd rather continue to do my work in the House, fighting for the progress everyday Americans so desperately need.
But with the razor-thin Senate majority and the conspiracy-theory GOP denying the legitimacy of our elections, suppressing the vote and refusing to acknowledge the Jan. 6 insurrection, I need to know this grassroots team is with me – to show the nation that just like in Georgia, when the people rise together, everyone wins.
