Regsiter today! Gender-based violence are harmful acts committed against folks from varying gender identities – women/femme, trans, and two-spirit. This virtual event will provide participants an understanding of gender-based violence and how it intersects with the missing and murdered crisis of Indigenous women, girls, Trans, & Two-Spirit relatives. Dr. Christina M. Castro, Three Sisters Collective, will join us in facilitating this conversation. More information will be made available. Objectives: Provide the audience with an understanding of what gender-based violence is Create awareness around the intersections of gender-based violence and MMIWGT2S Discussion: how do we engage our male relatives into the conversation to end gender-based violence as it relates to the MMIWGT2S crisis? Join the conversation! Register! This is a two-day education on the dynamics of genderqueer Indigenous Youth and gender/land violence for Native LGBTQ2S+ Youths who are ages 16-25 years old. It is our goal that the retreat participants will be supported, encouraged, and reenergized. Our hope is to create a friendly and safe space to be yourself and to have fun. Register!
