Hi friend — it’s Christy, the Executive Director of the Michigan Democratic Party.

I know you’ve heard from our Finance Director Emily and our Voter Protection Director Erica, but I wanted to reach out because we need your help to hit our FEC deadline before tomorrow at midnight.

(If you already know what we’re going to say and want to make a difference in the fight to protect voting rights, you can skip the rest of this email and chip in to our Voter Protection Fund by clicking here!)

Michigan Republicans' voter suppression bills SB 303 and SB 304 — THE most restrictive voter ID bills in the country — could land on the state Senate's floor for a vote any day now.

We need to do everything in our power to stop these anti-democratic bills before they become law. Friend, believe me when I say you are our best hope for stopping the GOP’s ruthless attacks on the right to vote.

With your help, we’re maintaining our robust voter protection program, mobilizing organizers and volunteers against these bills, and preparing to take these fights to court when all else fails.

But this news means we need to massively scale up our efforts. That's why I have to ask:

Will you answer our urgent call to action and chip in $10 or more to our Voter Protection Fund before tomorrow at midnight? Your support is the only way we can fund the necessary resources to fight back.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thank you for your support,

Christy Jensen
Executive Director
