John -- before I go on to tell you more about why meeting our second-quarter fundraising goal is critical to the work we do here at NIAC, I have to ask:
We’re just one day away from the end-of-quarter deadline and still over $2,500 behind our goal. Will you chip in now to help us close the gap on NIAC’s second quarter?
2021 has been a busy year at NIAC. We’ve worked across the aisle with allies in Congress to advocate for the NO BAN Act, announced our first 40 under 40 list of notable Iranian-Americans, launched our third Iranian-American Pride campaign, and spent countless hours keeping our supporters up to date on issues key to our community.
And with the JCPOA talks continuing, Senate deliberations on the NO BAN Act underway, and sanctions limiting COVID-19 vaccine distribution to Iranians in need still in place, we need to be prepared to grind even harder over the next few months.
If we’re going to keep up with a changing political climate and build momentum on these important projects, we’ll need the resources to keep moving forward.
