"In Suing Georgia, Justice Department Says State's New Voting Law Targets Black Voters"

Republicans may have killed the For the People Act in the U.S. Senate, but President Joe Biden and Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke aren't giving up: The Justice Department is SUING Georgia for their racist voter suppression law.

Team, we're fighting against voter suppression with all we have. That includes registering Black voters, organizing our communities to build civic engagement, offering FREE rides to the polls, and supporting efforts to stop these voter suppression laws.

All of that takes resources. And with only one day until our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, we need all hands on deck to help us hit our $10,000 fundraising goal.

We checked the numbers, and we're still $5,909 short of our goal. Chip in now to help us cross the finish line ?

Long lines at the polls. Closing polling locations in Black communities. Blocking volunteers from handing out food and water to voters. Limiting access to absentee voting. Less drop boxes.

All of this is voter suppression, and ALL of it is happening in Georgia. We aren't surprised Georgia is seeing a fresh wave of voter suppression. But if we plan on stopping it, we have to hit each and every fundraising goal we set.

We still have time to catch up on our fundraising goal before the deadline. Donate what you can now to help us close the gap.

Let's go,
